Introducing Scrimmages at The Lab! Competitive games in a tournament format so you can practice playing under pressure while also having fun.

We've felt your energy at Live Ball, skills clinics, and Open Play. Across those sessions, we consistently hear requests for competitive games. We're excited to offer this new program!

Choose your partner and sign up by January 26 to be one of 6 teams competing.

Your team's combined DUPR cannot exceed 8.4

Format: Round-robin pool play + seeded bracket play

6 teams. Two pools of 3 teams each.

Round 1: Pool play

• Two matches

• One game to 21, rally scoring, win by 2, win on your serve

• Switch ends at 11

• No timeouts

Playoffs (First round of bracket play)

• Seeded bracket based on pool play (#1 seeds from each pool get a Bye and go straight to semis)

• One game to 21, rally scoring, win by 2, win on your serve

• Switch ends at 11

• No timeouts

Semifinals

• Winner of each playoff match plays #1 seed

• 1 game to 15, sideout scoring, win by 2 

• Switch ends at 8

• 1 timeout for 1 minute

Final

• Winners play in final

• Best of 3 games to 11, sideout scoring

• 1 timeout/game for 1 minute

Cost: $20/person ($40/team)

• Warmup: You can show up starting at 5:30pm. We'll start games promptly at 6:05pm

• Ball: Vulcan

• DUPR: Games will not be entered into DUPR
