Women's Moneyball

You asked for this... Moneyball is coming back to The Lab!

Choose your partner and sign up by Sunday, Nov 24 to be one of 6 teams competing.

There isn't a minimum or maximum DUPR rating for this event, but we strongly recommend 4.5 and 5.0 players. (We'll be hosting more events like this for players at other levels.)

Format

6 teams. Two pools of 3 teams each.

Round 1: Pool play

• Two matches*

• Rally scoring to 21, win by 2, win on your serve

• No timeouts

Semifinals

• Top two teams in each pool* advance to semifinals. (Third place team in each pool will be done after pool play.)

• #1 team in Pool A plays #2 team in Pool B. #1 team in Pool B plays #2 team in Pool A.

• 1 game to 15, sideout scoring 

• 1 timeout for 1 minute

*Advancing to semis is based on (1) record (2) total points scored (3) total points against

Final

• Winners play in final

• Best of 3 games to 11, sideout scoring

• 1 timeout/game for 45 seconds

Cost: $25/person ($50/team)

Payout: $100/person ($200 for winning team)
